A new-generation mobile hospital concept for the U.S. Army’s Future Medical Shelter System (FMSS)

The “lessons learned” from conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan – plus the potential of a major terrorist attack on the United States – has led the U.S. Army to seek a new mobile hospital system that is highly deployable, rapid to activate and fully integrated for sustained operations in a full range of conditions.
