Trauma Research in Chinese Army (PLA)

Medical Corps leaders of Chinese Army (People’s Liberation Army, PLA) always pay attention to the treatment of the wounded and trauma patients and basic science research on trauma. All military hospitals consider the treatment of war wounds/trauma as one of their main tasks. In addition lots of trauma research units have been established since 50′. The main achievements in this field are summarized as follows.
