The Committee of the Chiefs of Military Medical Services in NATO (COMEDS) meets in Skopje, North Macedonia, from 2 to 4 June 2026. The meeting brings together military medical leaders from allied and partner nations to discuss current challenges, emerging trends, and future priorities in military medicine.
Hosted by North Macedonia, the three-day event provides a platform for strategic dialogue on enhancing military medical capabilities, interoperability, operational readiness, and multinational cooperation across the Alliance. Participants exchanged experiences and best practices in areas including operational healthcare support, medical preparedness, force health protection, innovation in military medicine, and lessons identified from recent operations and exercises.
An accompanying industry exhibition provides participants with valuable insights into the latest developments in military medical technology, healthcare solutions, and innovation. Leading companies from the defence and medical sectors showcases advanced capabilities, products, and services designed to support military healthcare, operational medicine, medical logistics, training, and force health protection.

By creating this platform for exchange and networking, the exhibition fosters dialogue and collaboration, helping to address current and future challenges in military medicine and strengthen medical support for military operations.

The Committee of the Chiefs of Military Medical Services in NATO (COMEDS) is NATO’s senior military medical advisory body. It provides coordinated medical advice to NATO military authorities and serves as a forum for consultation and cooperation among the military medical services of Allied nations.
